Time Is RUNNING OUT For The Military Tax Credit

Must Be At Least Under Contract By April 30^th 2011

Time is running out for the $8,000, Veterans extended tax credit (buyers that have been in active duty). 

You must be at least under contract by 04.30.2011 to qualify.  A "long-time resident" credit up to $6,500 is available to others who do not qualify as "first-time home buyers."

Long-Term Resident is defined as: "The buyer must have owned (and lived in) their home as a primary residence for 5 of the last 8-years, too qualify if buying a new home now. Same deadline applies (4.30.2011).

Why not escape rain, snow and lots of gray-overcast days and enjoy Arizona's 300+ guaranteed days of sunshine.  The 1^st time tax credit and the new, repeat home buyers tax credit have been extended and are available thru  April 30^th 2011.

What this special rule says is if you have official orders outside the United States for at least 90 days from 12/31/2008 to 5/1/2010, the tax credit is extended one year.  So if you were outside the U.S. for 90 days, you can still get the tax credit as long as you sign your purchase contract by April 30st 2011 and close by June 30st 2011. ........
